The owners of a 2004 Nissan Quest contacted the Bell Police Department to report their vehicle was stolen. The owners met with a potential buyer of the Nissan but the “buyer” fled with the Nissan.  The owners provided the Bell PD with a description of the suspect. The owner of a Nissan Quest contacted the Riverside Police Department to report that he was parked and sleeping in his van when he was awaken after a suspect entered the van and damaged the ignition. The suspect told him to exit the van and fearing for his safety he exited. The Riverside PD verified

The owner of a Classic 1958 Chevrolet Impala contacted the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from an interior repair shop in Duarte. Apparently the Impala had been parked in an unsecured parking lot in front of the business and even though it had been locked, the vehicle was stolen.

The owners of a 2006 Nissan Maxima contacted the Riverside Police Department to report their vehicle was stolen. The Riverside PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan. The California Highway Patrol was conducting an investigation involving the theft of numerous cars taken by fraudulent information.  A dealer in Duarte was contacted where a suspect had used his true name however, used a false work address and false Social Security number to purchase a 2007 BMW 328.  The ISU Investigator verified the theft
