The Pittsburg, CA resident in this case discovered his Nissan Frontier missing from his home late one Friday night. Thanks to his local police, and the LoJack® system he had installed when purchasing his truck, it was recovered quickly without any damage.

On November 22nd, 2013, the Nissan’s owner contacted Pittsburg, CA Police to report the theft. Officers verified the crime information and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Frontier, which was installed at Concord Nissan in Concord, CA.

A short while later, Concord PD officers picked up the homing signals from the stolen truck on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. They tracked the Nissan to downtown Concord where it was parked in a convenience store lot.  When a suspect entered the pickup and attempted to drive away, several police cruisers blocked its path and took the driver into custody. The undamaged Frontier was soon returned to its thankful owner.
