Just after midnight on a Saturday morning, this San Diego, CA resident discovered his Infiniti FX3 missing from the street where he had parked it. This victim knew just what to do- he contacted his local police, who activated his LoJack® system and recovered his car in only 16 minutes!

On October 12th, 2013, the Infiniti’s owner contacted San Diego Police to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack device concealed in the FX3, which was installed at Mossy Nissan in El Cajon, CA, was then automatically activated.

A short time later, officers from San Diego PD’s K-9 Unit picked up the homing signals from the stolen SUV on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computers, the officers tracked the vehicle as it was pulling out of a gas station. The officers followed the FX3 and made a traffic stop, taking one suspect into custody.  The owner was very happy to have his undamaged Infiniti returned to him
