The Dealership Rental manager in charge of fleet contacted the Riverside Police Department to report their vehicle; a 2015 Nissan Sentra had previously been embezzled and stolen in the city of Riverside.
The Riverside PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan.

A short while later, officers from the Riverside PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Nissan to the downtown area of Riverside. After a short surveillance they saw a male subject enter the Nissan. He was subsequently detained and identified as the same person who had embezzled and stolen the Nissan Sentra from the dealership. The suspect was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Nissan Sentra in March 2015 at Riverside Auto Group in Riverside, California.
