The owners of a 2007 Suzuki GSXR750 called San Francisco Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from in front of their home in San Francisco, California.

The San Francisco PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Suzuki.

90 minutes later, the San Francisco PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Suzuki with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, an SFPD Sergeant tracked the signal to a side street in the Bayview area.  The signal was emanating from inside a parked Ford van.  The officer peered into the van and saw the stolen motorcycle.  Further investigation revealed that van was recently stolen from San Francisco.  Also inside the stolen van was a recently stolen KTM Adventure motorcycle.  The owners of the undamaged Suzuki were contacted to recover their vehicle.

This same motorcycle was stolen in August 2014 and recovered with the help of the LoJack® System.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Suzuki motorcycle in December 2006 by Marin Cycleworks in Corte Madera, California.
