On December 17, 2012, the owner of 2003 BMW 325 had his vehicle stolen from the street in downtown Novato, where it was left running and unattended. Novato Police verified the crime information and entered the BMW’s information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the vehicle.
