The owners of a 2014 Toyota Tundra discovered that their truck was stolen from in front of their home in Antioch, California.

The Antioch Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

40 minutes later, the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, officers located the stolen Toyota in a marina parking lot in Antioch where it was abandoned and undamaged.  The owners of the stolen Toyota were notified and it was released to them in the field.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2014 Toyota Tundra in January 2014 at Livermore Toyota in California.
