The owners of a 2017 Dodge Charger reported to Loganville Police their vehicle stolen out of their driveway overnight on May 9, 2019. Loganville Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System, concealed in the 2017 Dodge Charger.

Within an hour, Officers from the DeKalb Police department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Tracking Computers (PTC’s) that are installed in their vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from their PTC’s they were able to locate the vehicle unattended in an apartment complex parking lot. DeKalb Police recovered the stolen Dodge undamaged and returned it to a grateful owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota in March 2017 at Hayes Chrysler Plymouth in Lawrenceville, Ga.
