The owner of 2013 Chevrolet Impala LTZ contacted the Manteca Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen.  The Manteca Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2013 Impala LTZ.

A short while later a Stockton PD Investigator assigned to the San Joaquin County Auto Theft Task Force (Delta RATT) was alerted to the stolen Chevrolet Impala by means of the silent LoJack signal.  The investigator then tracked the stolen vehicle with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the stolen Impala was located unoccupied, parked at the curb in a residential neighborhood on South Stanislaus Street near East Worth Street.  Surveillance was established on the vehicle and a short time later a female suspect got into the stolen Impala and drove away.  Investigators followed the stolen Impala until it pulled into the driveway of a residence in the 2500 block of 8th Street and the investigators took her into custody as she exited the stolen car.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2013 Chevrolet Impala LTZ in June of 2016, at Kuni Hubacher Motors LLC, in Sacramento Ca.
