The owner of a 2013 Honda Accord contacted the Philadelphia Police Department to report that her vehicle was stolen during the night from the driveway of her home in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the 2013 Honda Accord.

A short while later officers from the Runnemede Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal coming from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a parking lot on the Black Horse Turnpike in the Town of Runnemede. The vehicle was located parked unoccupied and undamaged.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2013 Honda Accord in December of 2012, at Honda of Turnersville, N.J.
