The victim stated they discovered the Toyota missing from in front of their residence on Wooster Avenue. The San Jose PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota Camry.

A short time later, officers from the San Jose PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Camry with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) which are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the stolen Camry was tracked to the parking lot of a nearby community park where the vehicle was found abandoned.

The Camry was recovered and released to the very grateful owner at the scene.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Camry at Steven’s Creek Toyota in San Jose, California.
