This Lexus ES300 was stolen from a used car dealership located in the 20000 block of Highway 99 in Lynnwood. The dealership had just received the Lexus and the keys were in it. When the theft was realized it was reported to the Lynnwood Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.

Just six minutes later, an Edmonds Police Department officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lexus on the Police Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in his patrol car. Following directional and audible cues from the PTC, he tracked the signal to the 9000 block of 240th Street SW in Edmonds. The Lexus was located abandoned and undamaged. The car dealership purchased it at auction and was not aware it was equipped with LoJack.

The LoJack® System was installed in this Lexus ES300 in October 2003 at Lexus of Cerritos in California.
