The owner of a Jaguar XTY contacted the Riverside Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen from the city of Riverside.

The Riverside PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Jaguar.

Within 29 minutes, officers from the Riverside PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Jaguar with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Jaguar to the area of Hiers and Wells Street in the city of Riverside.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Jaguar XTY in November 2003 at Cush Jaguar in San Diego, California.
