The owner of an Infiniti M35 contacted the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department to report that his vehicle was stolen in the city of El Cajon.

The San Diego County SD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

At a later time, deputies from the San Diego County SD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the Infiniti to the 5440 block of Casino Way in El Cajon.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti M35 in August 2014 at John Hine Pontiac in San Diego, California.
