The owner of a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder contacted the Antioch Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. The owner advised the Nissan was taken from the 1400 block of “A” Street.

The Antioch PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Nissan Pathfinder.

Just a short while later, officers from the Fairfield Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Nissan with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the stolen Nissan to the area of Airbase Parkway near North Texas Street. A traffic stop was made on the Nissan on East Alaska Avenue and the occupants of the stolen Nissan; two males and a female were detained.

The Nissan was recovered and towed/stored to be returned to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Nissan Pathfinder in December 2016 at Winter Chevrolet in Pittsburg, California.
