The owners of a 2006 Toyota Corolla contacted the Brawley Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen in the city of Brawley.

The Brawley PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

Within 11 minutes, officers from the Brawley PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Toyota to the area of Grove and Jones Street in the city of Brawley.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Corolla in September 2005 at Toyota of Folsom Lake in Folsom, California.
