The owner of a 2010 Lexus 250 contacted the San Diego Police Department to report that her vehicle was stolen while parked in the street in the city of San Diego.

The San Diego PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Lexus.
Within 11 minutes, officers from the San Diego PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Lexus with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Lexus to a residential neighborhood located in the 5600 block of Antigua Street in San Diego.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Lexus 250 in April 2016 at Lexus El Cajon in California.
