The owner of this Honda Fit discovered his vehicle was missing and immediately reported the theft to the Eugene Police Department. The Eugene PD verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.
A Gresham Police Department officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officer tracked the signal to Division and Burnside where he observed the vehicle being driven and occupied by two people. Once the driver saw the patrol car he attempted to elude the officer by driving behind a motel and then to a high school parking lot. Both fled on foot. One was apprehended and arrested on past warrants. The other suspect was identified and an arrest is anticipated.

The LoJack® System was installed in this Honda Fit in October 2013 at Airport Marina Honda in Los Angeles, California.
