The owners of a Jaguar STY contacted the El Cajon Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen in the city of El Cajon.

The El Cajon PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Jaguar.

Within 4 minutes, officers from the El Cajon PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Jaguar with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Jaguar to the 1300 block of Oakdale Ave in El Cajon.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Jaguar STY in November 2005 at Cush Jaguar in San Diego, California.
