The owners of a 2002 Toyota Sienna contacted the Anderson Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. The victim discovered unknown suspects had taken the Toyota while it was parked sometime during the night.

The Anderson PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

Just over an hour later an officer from the Anderson PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officer tracked the Toyota to Volante Park in the city of Anderson. The Toyota was parked and abandoned.

The victim was contacted and responded to pick up her stolen Toyota.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Sienna in September 2003 at Auto Nation Honda in Sanford, Florida.
