This BMW 325ci was stolen sometime during a twelve hour period from the owners residence located on Hall Street in Sherwood. When the theft was discovered it was reported to the Sherwood Police Department who verified the report and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the BMW.

Later that evening, the Portland Police Bureau officers picked up the silent LoJack signal from the BMW with the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, they tracked the BMW to the 300 block of SW Pine in Portland. It was abandoned in a parking garage. There was no apparent damage.

The LoJack® System was installed in this BMW 325ci in February 2006 at Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas, California.
