The owners of an Infiniti G35 contacted the Chula Vista Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from their driveway in the city of Chula Vista.

The Chula Vista PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Infiniti.

Within 6 minutes officers from the Chula Vista PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Infiniti with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Infiniti to a residential area located in the area of the 400 block of F Street in Chula Vista. Two female suspects were arrested for vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Infiniti G35 in October 2006 at Infiniti of Mission Viejo in California.
