The owners of a Honda Odyssey contacted the Lehi Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. A police officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

A short while later a trooper with the Utah Highway Patrol picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTCs) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the trooper tracked the Honda to a parking lot in Lehi where the stolen Honda was recovered undamaged. The investigation was turned over to the Lehi PD.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Odyssey in February 2004 in Cerritos, California.
