The owners of a 2015 Dodge Dart contacted the Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Division to report that their vehicle was stolen.

The LAPD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

A short time later, patrol officers from the LAPD West Valley division picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Dodge to the area of the 7100 block of Lindley Ave. The officers conducted a traffic stop and took the suspect into custody for auto theft related charges without incident.
The Dodge was impounded for safe keeping.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Dodge Dart in October 2014 at Rydell Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in San Fernando, California.
