This Honda Civic was stolen during the night from the owner’s residence located near 19th Avenue East and East Republican Streets in Seattle. When the owner discovered the theft she immediately reported it to the Seattle Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Later that day, a Seattle PD officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. The officer tracked the signal and located the Honda abandoned at 11th Avenue East and East Aloha Street. It did not appear to be damaged.

The Honda was processed for evidence and released to the owner.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Civic in April 2010 by Miller Honda in Culver City, California.
