The owner of this Acura Integra contacted the Exeter Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from in front of their residence during the night. The Exeter PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Acura.

Several hours later an officer with the Exeter PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Acura with the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officer tracked the Acura to the vicinity of Kaweah and Atkinson avenues outside the city limits of Exeter. The officer found it unoccupied and abandoned in an orange grove. The Acura was recovered intact and undamaged; it was stored pending release to the owner.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Acura Integra in March 2000 by Acura 101 West in Calabasas, California.
