The owner of a 2006 Ford F-150 contacted the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to report that his vehicle was stolen in the city of Jurupa Valley.
The Riverside County SD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Ford.

Within 5 minutes, officers from the Riverside Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Ford with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Ford to the area of Ardmore and Elliott Street in the city of Riverside. A traffic stop was initiated; the suspect was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Ford F-150 in November 2006 at Bob Baker Lexus in El Cajon, California.
