The owners of a 2014 Toyota Camry contacted the Antioch Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. The victim stated the Toyota was stolen sometime during the day while parked at the business where the victim worked.
The Antioch PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later officers from the San Joaquin Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the Toyota to the area of the 8100 block of Lauran Street in Stockton. The deputies observed the Toyota parked and abandoned on the street in this business district of Stockton.
The Toyota was towed and stored for safe keeping to be released later.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Toyota Camry in March 2014 at Momentum Toyota of Fairfield, California.
