The owners of a Honda Civic EX contacted the Ontario Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen in the city of Ontario.
The Ontario PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Within 11 minutes, officers from the Riverside Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Honda to the area of Spruce and Orange Street in Riverside. A traffic stop was made and an arrest was made for vehicle theft and possession of stolen property.
The Honda Civic was previously entered as stolen by the Chino Police Department and tracked and recovered via the LoJack system by Pomona Police Department in 2013.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Civic EX in March 2000 at Gardena Honda in California.
