The owners of a BMW 745i contacted the West Valley Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen. An officer verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the BMW.

Later officers with the West Valley PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen BMW with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles.

Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers then tracked and located the stolen BMW; “We found it within minutes using the LoJack. Definitely a good tool and always good to get a win.”

The LoJack® System was installed in the BMW 745i in 2003 by Direct Sales in Huntington Beach, California.
