The owner of a Dodge Ram contacted the Oklahoma City Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from 1800 S. Meridian in Oklahoma City.

The Oklahoma City PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activates the LoJack® System concealed in the stolen Dodge.

A short while later two deputies with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge Ram with the LoJack Tracking Computer (PTC) installed in patrol cars and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computer the deputies were able to quickly track the signal to Reno and Rockwell in Oklahoma City. The deputies observed the Dodge Ram on a parking lot of a business and also observed two individuals working on the stolen pick-up. These two subjects were taken into custody and later transported to the Oklahoma County jail. The stolen Dodge Ram was returned to the owner.
