The owners of a 2011 Honda Odyssey called the San Rafael Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen from in front of their home in San Rafael, California.

The San Rafael PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Honda.

Less than 1 hour later, the Richmond Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Honda with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Richmond PD officers tracked the Honda to the central area of Richmond where the stolen Honda was parked abandoned on the street.  The owners of the undamaged Honda were contacted to recover their vehicle.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Honda Odyssey in October 2013 by Marin Honda in San Rafael, CA.
