The owners of a 2015 Dodge Dart contacted the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.

The Riverside SD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Dodge.

Only six minutes later officers from the Anaheim Police Department picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Dodge with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Dodge to the 2700 block of E. Regal in the city of Anaheim.  The officers found the Dodge parked and unoccupied.  The officers contacted the owner and had him respond to take possession of his undamaged Dodge.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Dodge Dart in December 2014 at Champion Dodge in Downey California.
