The owners of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado contacted the Anaheim Police Department to report that their vehicle was stolen.  The Chevrolet was parked on the street to the front of the owner’s residence.

The Anaheim PD verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chevrolet.

Only four minutes later officers from the Anaheim PD picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chevrolet with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the Chevrolet to the 100 block of N. Bella Street in the city of Anaheim.  The Chevrolet was found parked and unoccupied.  The undamaged Chevrolet was recovered.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Chevrolet Silverado in October 2014 at Singh Chevrolet in Riverside, California.
