This Chrysler 300 was stolen from the owner’s residence in the 4700 block of 42nd Avenue SW in Seattle. The theft occurred sometime during the late morning to early afternoon hours.
The theft was reported to the Seattle Police Department who verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Chrysler.
Less than thirty minutes after activating the LoJack, a Seattle PD officer picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Chrysler on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the Chrysler was located in the 6300 block of 34th Avenue SW and it was abandoned.
The LoJack® System was installed in the Chrysler 300 in December of 2009 at McCune Motors in National City, California.
