This Mitsubishi Eclipse was reported stolen from the 1500 block of 9th Street in Bremerton.  The theft was reported to the Bremerton Police Department.  The report was verified and they entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Mitsubishi.

Later that evening, a Bremerton PD sergeant picked up the silent LoJack signal from the stolen Mitsubishi on the LoJack Police Tracking Computer (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.

The Bremerton PD sergeant tracked the signal to a hotel parking lot on Kitsap Way where the Mitsubishi was located abandoned and undamaged.  A suspect was interviewed at that location.  The case has been turned over to the prosecutor and possible charges are pending.

The LoJack® System was installed in the Mitsubishi Eclipse in September of 2000 at Puente Hills Mitsubishi in City of Industry, California.
