A short while later, deputies from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department -Santa Clarita Station picked up the silent LoJack® homing signals from the stolen Ford with the LoJack® Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft. Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the deputies tracked the vehicle to Valley Street in the City of Newhall. The vehicle had been abandoned by the suspect. The vehicle was recovered and impounded for safe keeping.
