San Francisco Police verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Toyota.

A short while later officers from Daly City PD picked up the silent LoJack homing signals from the stolen Toyota with the LoJack Police Tracking Computers (PTC) that are installed in patrol vehicles and aircraft.  Following the directional and audible cues from the PTC, the officers tracked the vehicle to a side street in Daly City where the stolen car was found abandoned and undamaged on the street.

The LoJack® System was installed in the 2012 Toyota Corolla in October 2012.
