The owners of a 2006 Audi A4 discovered that their car was stolen from their home in San Mateo.  The San Mateo Police Department verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack® System concealed in the Audi.

Just over an hour later, South San Francisco PD officers picked up the silent signals from the LoJack System installed on the stolen Audi on the LoJack Police Tracking Computers installed in their patrol vehicles. Following the directional and audible cues from the LoJack computers, the officers tracked the stolen vehicle to a shopping mall in South San Francisco.  Officers surrounded the stolen Audi and arrested the 3 occupants.

The owners of the stolen Audi were contacted to claim their undamaged stolen vehicle.

LoJack® System was installed in the 2006 Audi A4 on 3/9/2006 in Mission Viejo, CA.
