The owners of a Honda Civic EX left it at their apartment complex while they were gone for 14 hours on a recent Monday. When they returned, their vehicle was gone. This was especially frustrating for the victims since this was the second theft of their car in the last four months. Their local law enforcement, assisted by the LoJack® system that was installed when the Civic EX was purchased, made a fast, safe, same-day recovery.

On July 7th, 2014, The Honda’s owners contacted the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Civic Ex, which was installed at Select California Auto Services in San Marcos, CA.

Just over one hour later, Mill Creek PD officers received the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol vehicles. The police located the Honda on 121st Street SE where it was found parked and abandoned. The undamaged Civic EX was retrieved and soon returned to its relieved owner.
