On a recent Sunday, a Corona, CA resident discovered that his Honda Accord was missing from his residence. This victim was grateful for the LoJack® system that was installed inside his vehicle. With LoJack’s help, local police were able to recover the car and apprehend two suspects in less than an hour after activation.

On March 2nd, 2014, the Honda’s owner contacted the Corona Police Department to report that his vehicle was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Accord was then automatically activated.

Just a few minutes later, officers from the San Diego PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The Honda was found traveling on Worden Street in San Diego.  A traffic stop was made and two suspects were arrested. The Accord was soon returned to its grateful owner.
