When the owners of a Saturn SL2 discovered their vehicle was missing on a recent Saturday, the LoJack® system that was installed inside it really proved its worth. With LoJack’s assistance, local law enforcement recovered the car in just one and a half hours after activation.

On April 5th, 2014, the Saturn’s owner contacted the Fresno Police Department to report that their vehicle had been stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the SL12, which was installed at Pacific Ford in Long Beach, CA.

About ninety minutes later, an officer from the Clovis PD picked up the silent homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer located the Saturn parked and abandoned at an apartment complex in northeast Fresno. The undamaged SL2 was retrieved and soon returned to its relieved owner.
