Sacramento, California Police Recover Stolen 2013 Lexus ES300 with Help from the LoJack® System

The Sacramento, CA resident in this case discovered her 2013 Lexus ES300 had been stolen from her garage on a recent Sunday. She discovered that she had made a great choice to have the LoJack® system installed when she purchased her car. With LoJack’s help, local law enforcement recovered the ES300 in just a few minutes after activation.

On March 2nd, 2014, the owner of the Lexus reported the crime to the Sacramento Police Department. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the ES300, which was installed at Lexus of Sacramento, CA.

Just a few minutes later, officers with the Sacramento PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Lexus parked and abandoned in the area of 16th and Corgano Lane in Land Park.  The ES300, valued at $26,500, was retrieved and soon returned to its relieved owner.
