On a recent Thursday, the owners of a Toyota RAV4 discovered it missing from their Stockton, CA residence. Thanks to the LoJack® system installed inside the SUV, local law enforcement recovered it quickly and safely.

On April 3rd, 2014, the Toyota’s owner contacted the Stockton Police Department to report that their SUV was stolen. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the RAV4, which was installed at Puente Hills Toyota in City of Industry, CA.

A short while later, officers with the California Highway Patrol picked up the homing signals from the stolen SUV on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers found the Toyota on Carpenter St in Stockton, where it was parked and abandoned. The RAV4 was retrieved and soon returned to its owner.
