This case involves an Infiniti M35 that was stolen from a dealership in Inglewood, CA. Thanks to the LoJack® system that was installed when the car was originally purchased, local police were able to quickly recover and return the vehicle to the dealership without any damage.

On March 31st, 2014, an employee of the dealership contacted the Inglewood Police Department to report the incident. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers, which automatically activated the LoJack transponder concealed in the M35.

A short while later, a Los Angeles County Task Force for Regional Auto Theft Prevention (TRAP) detective picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in his vehicle. The detective located the Infiniti in the area of 66th Street and Broadway where it was parked and unoccupied.  The undamaged M35 was recovered and soon returned to the dealership.
