It was just around dinner time on a Monday evening when these Inglewood, CA residents noticed their 2012 Ford Focus was missing. The LoJack® system they had installed when purchasing their car just one year ago proved what a good investment it was by assisting police in recovering their vehicle in less than 90 minutes after activation.

On February 10th, 2014, the Ford’s owners contacted Inglewood Police to report the crime. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the Focus, which was installed at Galpin Ford in North Hills, CA.

A short while later, officers with the California Highway Patrol and the Inglewood PD picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. The officers located the Ford parked and unoccupied on a residential street. The undamaged Focus was retrieved and quickly returned to its thankful owners.
