It was the morning after Christmas when the Los Angeles, CA resident in this case discovered his Honda Accord was missing. This victim was certainly glad he had the LoJack® system installed when he purchased his car. With LoJack’s help, the Accord was recovered by local law enforcement that afternoon.

On December 26th, 2013, the Honda’s owner contacted police to report his vehicle was stolen.  Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. The LoJack unit concealed in the Accord, which was installed at Kramer Honda-Volvo in Los Angeles, CA, was then automatically activated.

A short while later, police officers picked up the homing signals from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles.  The officers tracked the Honda to Haines Street in the West Valley, where they arrested one suspect. The Accord was retrieved and quickly returned to its happy owner.
