The California based victims in this case discovered their 2012 Dodge Charger was missing just after 2 am on a Saturday morning. It’s a good thing that both their local law enforcement and the LoJack® system they had installed in their car work 24-7. With LoJack’s help, police were able to retrieve the Charger in only four minutes after activation.

On December 7th, 2013, the Dodge’s owner reported the incident to local police. Officers verified the theft and entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This action automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the Charger, which was installed at Sierra Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Monrovia, CA.

A few minutes later, patrol officers in Northridge picked up the homing signal from the stolen car on the LoJack tracking computer installed in their patrol units. The officers located the Dodge on Dylan Street, where it was parked and unoccupied.  The Charger was recovered and soon returned to its grateful owners.
