The South San Francisco, CA resident in this case received an early morning shock when he discovered that his Chevy TrailBlazer was missing from his home at 4 am on a Monday morning. The LoJack® system installed when the SUV was purchased proved to be a smart purchase- with LoJack’s help, local police recovered his vehicle in just 75 minutes after activation.

On December 2nd, 2013, the Chevy’s owner contacted South San Francisco Police. Officers verified the theft entered the vehicle information into the state and federal crime computers. This procedure, which automatically activated the LoJack device concealed in the TrailBlazer, which was installed at Stewart Automotive Group in Colma, CA.

A short while later, Oakland PD officers picked up the homing signals from the stolen SUV on the LoJack tracking computers installed in their patrol vehicles. They tracked the Chevy to a parking lot just outside the Oakland Airport, where it was parked and abandoned. The owner of the undamaged TrailBlazer was thrilled to get his vehicle recovered and returned to him. This was the second incident where the SUV was stolen and retrieved using LoJack.
