What a bad way to start a weekend! The victim in this case found his Honda Civic missing one Saturday morning from his apartment complex parking lot. His local police, assisted by the LoJack® system, were able to recover his car that same day.

On August 24th, 2013, the Honda’s owner immediately reported the crime to the Fresno Police Department. The vehicle information was entered into the California Stolen Vehicle System as well as the NCIC national system. This routine police action automatically activated the LoJack unit concealed in the vehicle, which was installed at Kramer Honda/Volvo in Santa Monica, CA.

A short while later, a Fresno PD officer picked up the homing signals from the stolen car with the LoJack tracking computer installed in his patrol vehicle. The officer located the Honda parked and abandoned on the side of the road in northeast Fresno. The undamaged Civic EX was soon returned to its relieved owner.
